Guitar class, online
Hello, Instruments 4 Success students! I'm one of the instructors in the program. I built this site to go along with what we learn in class.
The great thing about learning guitar on the internet is that there are millions of teachers and lessons out there. The problem is… there are millions of teachers and lessons out there. We are a “humming and strumming group!” These tools are here to help build the foundation of your guitar journey.
Everything here is free. I made these tools for instructors and students because I enjoy programming and, of course, I love guitar. If you have a question, use the contact form to reach me. I'm happy to help.

Chord Charts
The chords we use in class: A, Am, C, D, Dm, E, Em, F, G, A7 and B. Tap a chord to fill your screen with it, and learn how to read a chord chart.
Open chord charts →Song Trainer
Practice the chord changes for our class songs with a bouncing ball, then play along with a backing track. Start slow and work up to the speed of the record.
Open song trainer →1-4-5 Chord Change Trainer
Build speed on your chord changes. Pick a key (C, G, D, A, or E), start at 65 BPM, and follow the bouncing ball through the 1-4-5 progression. Step the tempo up as the changes get clean, then pick a song from the list for that key.
Launch trainer →Parts of the Guitar
Tap any part of an acoustic guitar, or an electric for comparison, to learn what it does. Plus the names of the six strings.
Open guitar parts →Handy tools
Guitar Tuner
Tune up before you play. Uses your phone or computer's microphone.
Open tuner →Metronome
Keep steady time while you practice strumming and chord changes.
Open metronome →Coming soon
